The Birt Wheelchair Carrier is a lightweight, removable wheelchair carrier that is mounted to the tow ball of a car. It is designed to minimise the manual handling risk of loading a manual wheelchair into a car and can be tilted sideways to allow the wheelchair to be loaded using leverage. The carrier can be removed and folded up when not in use and towing is not impeded once the detachable section has been removed.  It is available for self propelled wheelchairs (pictured) or transit wheelchairs.

The Pal classroom seat has been designed for children ages 1 to 8 with mild postural needs. The Pal seat uses the combination of pelvic belt, side pads and optional ramped cushion to give pelvic stability. The SafeTime Bed / Chair Monitor (pictured top left) can be plugged into the Nurse Call System at the facility as well has the added feature that it monitors the SafeTime bed and chair pad usage. Like the standard bed / chair monitor, the SafeTime has a switch which is provided for the caregiver to easily switch the unit on/off and to reset an active alarm.  The system activates an alarm when a resident or patient removes their weight from the connected sensor pad by falling or getting out of bed or out of a chair.  The monitor will re-arm itself if the resident / patient gets back onto the sensor pad.  All bed / chair pads incorporate ultra sensitive durable sensors and the result is virtually no false alarms over the lifetime of the pad.  All pads use highly anti allergic soft PVC for optimum comfort and have venting facilities in the neck away from main area to reduce the risk of moisture ingress.  The bed / chair monitor is available with your choice of bed sensor pads, chair pad or floor mat.  The monitor is supplied standard with a 9 volt battery and there is an optional DV plug pack for a permanent power source from 240 volt power.
