Morning Session: 10:30am to 12:30pm
HOW TO PRESCRIBE A JAY CUSHION
Join us for our morning session, designed to help clinicians understand key features of core Jay products and answer some key clinical questions:

  • How do I identify which cushion in the Jay range may best suit my client?
  • How can I choose the correct size?
  • Can I change the shape and contour?
  • What accessories and should I consider?
  • How can I modify or customise the product to meet the needs of more complex clients?

Learn how to effectively prescribe a cushion to ensure that your client receives the best Jay solution to meet their needs, both now and in the future. Participants will have a chance to touch and try a range of Jay seating. This session is designed to benefit both novice and intermediate clinicians


Afternoon Session: 1:30pm to 3:30pm
MASTERCLASS - QUICKIE QXi

Designed for longer term use by the semi-active or active user, this popular chair has just had some great new Quickie options added to the mix. Join us for a Quickie Masterclass, where we will work through the Quickie QXi Order Form and become more familiar with and knowledgeable about scripting choices for QXi in particular, and Quickie chairs in general. This is an interactive session designed to help clinicians understand key options and measurements when prescribing QXi, although much of the information will be applicable more widely to the Quickie range. This session is designed to benefit both novice and intermediate clinicians

Presenter: Jenni Dabelstein, Physiotherapist
Sunrise Medical

Jenni is a physiotherapist with over 30 years’ experience in both Australia and the USA. Jenni has worked extensively as a clinician, researcher, educator and consultant within the disability sector, and has special interests in the areas of biomechanics, specialised seating and wheeled mobility, including sports wheelchairs. In addition to her clinical experience, Jenni also has significant business experience in sales, management and business development roles within the rehabilitation equipment industry.

Jenni currently works as an independent seating & equipment consultant and educator, with a diverse clientele including both children and adults with mainly neurological conditions such as acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury and cerebral palsy.
